Used as an HDMI camera, Avaya Room Camera RC100 can support up to 2160p60 resolution, and 1080p60 when used with Avaya XT Series. USB connectivity on Avaya Room Camera RC100 allows easy interoperability with laptops — up to 2160p30 resolution with devices supporting such resolution (both Windows and macOS). Avaya Room Camera RC100 also allows easy connectivity with Avaya XT Series (up to 1080p30) and with Avaya CU360 (up to 720p30). IP connectivity makes Avaya Room Camera RC100 suitable for surveillance and extends the video range of Avaya CU360 (up to 1080p30 resolution).
Avaya Room Camera RC100 is a flexible and high-end solution covering a broad spectrum of room sizes and use cases for high-end features and connectivity. Avaya Room Camera RC100 has the following features: Excellent video quality with a maximum resolution of 2160p@60fps, Ultra HD 60fps camera, with 24x Full HD Zoom and 12x Ultra HD Optical Zoom. Avaya Room Camera RC100 can be used as an HDMI camera and support up to 2160p@60fps resolution. USB connectivity allows easy interoperability with laptops up to 2160p@30fps resolution.
Visca Control is a standard protocol to control PTZ (Pan Tilt Zoom) Cameras that available on Avaya Room Camera RC100. You can use the VISCA cross-cable for Avaya Room Camera RC100 as an additional camera with Avaya XT Series. By default, Avaya Room Camera RC100 camera has a rotary selector set to F position. When the rotary selector is set to F position, the video resolution and frame rate is set through VISCA or camera remote control. After setting, the camera reboots and the frame rate family set for HDMI is used for USB and IP streams. For example, if 1080p@60fps is set for HDMI through VISCA or Avaya Room Camera RC100 remote control, then the available formats for USB and IP are @30fps or @60fps but not @25fps or@50fps. If the rotary selector is set to F position, the default video format over HDMI is set to 1080p60 and the default video is set to 1080p30 for USB and IP. If Avaya Room Camera RC100 is connected one time to the Avaya XT Series endpoint through VISCA, then the OSD through the remote control is disabled.
