Ubiquiti UniFi Dream Machine Professional rack-mountable device is powered by a 1.7 GHz quad-core processor and sports a design fitting for all of the products it can replace. On top of handling the security gateway features, Ubiquiti UniFi Dream Machine Professional also integrates an 8-port Gigabit Ethernet switch and other necessary elements of the UniFi stack. The 10G SFP+ ports on UniFi Dream Machine are a great addition for use cases in a large network where you want to have a high throughput between your switches. You can also use one SFP+ port as an extra port for your LAN connection with the use of an RJ45 1G module. With the extra 10G SFP+ WAN port on UniFi Dream Machine, you can create an auto fail-over WAN connection. Load balancing between two WAN connections isn’t supported (yet?) on the Unifi Dream Machine Pro.
